In article the social state of health of inhabitants of the Penza region, first of all urban population, through their self-estimation received as a result of sociological research is analyzed. As research has shown, considerable influence on state of health of townspeople was rendered by the global economic crisis, which forced them to introduce a corrective amendment in an estimation of the economic situation, in possibility of adaptation to changing living conditions.
